"Simply plug an appliance into the Kill A Watt meter and it will assess the efficiency for you.  The Large LCD will display the power consumption by the kilowatt-hour (KWH), which is the billing unit your local utility uses.  By monitoring your KWH usage for a particular appliance and multiplying it by your utility's rate, you can determine your electric expense by the day, week, month, or year.

Milk is a type of mixture called a colloid. A colloid has multiple ingredients that are permanently suspended in the mixture. Unlike water and dirt, they won’t settle out. If you add an acid to a colloid, the ingredients will separate.   When you make cheese, you separate the colloid and collect all leftover materials (whey).
